Social Media Watch - April 7
Here we bring you the best posts from around the world of sport as players, coaches and commentators attempt to cope with the suspension of football and other sports.
With all of professional European sport on an indefinite hiatus, athletes from around the continent have been finding novel ways to keep themselves fit and entertained during the forced postponement.
1) Gareth Bale / Paulo Dybala

Gareth Bale was beaten by Paulo Dybala on FIFA 20 as part of the Combat Corona fundraiser for Unicef.
The Real Madrid and Wales star surprisingly chose to play as Manchester City and went ahead through a Sergio Aguero strike, but Dybala – playing as Real Madrid but leaving Bale on the bench – ran out a 3-1 winner.
Dybala was in cheeky mood after the game, mocking Bale with his own love heart celebration.
The match raised over £17,000 for charity.
2) Sean O’Hanlon’s son
From Cristiano Ronaldo’s stunning free-kick for Manchester United in 2008 against Portsmouth to Argentine great Diego Maradona’s controversial ‘Hand of God’ goal versus England at the 1986 Fifa World Cup, a young boy has recreated eleven iconic goals scored in football history.
The youngster, who is wearing an Everton jersey, is none other than retired English footballer Sean O’Hanlon’s son, who not only shows his skills with the ball but also displays some great acrobatic actions to score them.
The video went viral over the weekend and has earned praise from many Premier League footballers after some cracking strikes.
3) Christian Pulisic
Christian Pulisic showed off his range of skills as he took part in the #toosieslidechallenge whilst in self-isolation.
The American is using his spare time to hone his skills in the new lockdown challenge, doing keepy-uppys whilst moving in tune to Drake's new single.
As per the song's lyrics, Pulisic lifts the ball in the air on 'right foot up' and then slides to his left.
He then repeats the move in the opposite direction, bringing the ball up with his left foot and sliding to his right.
4) Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is urging people to keep busy during the coronavirus lockdown by inviting football fans to take part in a core strength challenge.
People around the world are required to stay indoors to prevent the spread of the virus and relieve the pressure on health services, and Ronaldo has adhered to guidelines in Italy by training at home.
As part of Nike's Living Room Cup initiative, the Juventus star performed a toe touch-style ab exercise, recording an impressive 142 repetitions in just 45 seconds.
United's new signing Bruno Fernandes, who has taken English football by storm, gave it a go but could only manage 117.
