Wolves

Wolves could make a move for Atletico Madrid winger Diogo Jota.

A potential deal for the Portugal U23 international would be an initial season-long loan.

Jota made 27 appearances on loan for Porto last season and is a player Nuno Espirito Santo knows well.

Burnley are the latest club to be linked with a move for former Wolves striker Benik Afobe.

Sean Dyche is on red alert with Afobe believed to be the odd-man-out following the signing of Jermain Defoe.

However the former Wolves striker is still 5/4 favourite with the bookies to make a shock return to Molineux as continues his hunt for a striker.

West Brom

Albion's hopes of signing veteran midfielder Gareth Barry appear to be over.

The 36-year-old was seen as the ideal replacement for Darren Fletcher, but Everton are reluctant to let him leave Goodison Park.

Barry will find it hard to become are regular for Ronald Koeman next season, but remains an important figure within the squad.

Aston Villa

Crystal Palace's James McArthur is still on Steve Bruce's wish list.

The 33-year-old is set for a tug-of-war battle between Burnley and Aston Villa.

Bruce wants McArthur to provide competition for Mile Jedinak, who appeared overworked towards the end of last season.
