Free deal for Birmingham City

Birmingham City today announced the signing of former Denmark international Peter Lovenkrands on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old was set to undergo a medical today before completing his move to St Andrew's.

Lovenkrands, who has been a free agent since being released by Newcastle in June, will become new boss Lee Clark's first Blues signing. He previously played for Rangers.

Meanwhile, Blues today announced leisure firm EZE Group as their new shirt sponsors for the forthcoming season.
