Noel Hunt's strike ended Birmingham's nine game unbeaten run as Reading ran out winners.

Hunt - brother of Wolves winger Stephen - settled the game with his 75th minute goal in a close run affair at the Madjeski Stadium.

The Republic of Ireland international was on hand to covert Jobi McAnuff's assist and hand the Royals three points in the Championship.

It was tough on Blues - playing their fifth match in two weeks - and Chris Hughton's look jaded as their recent good form came to an end.
