Birmingham manager Chris Hughton named Manager of the Month

Birmingham boss Chris Hughton has today been named the Championship Manager of the Month for October.

Hughton led Blues to four wins and a draw in the league during October, on top of those results came on top of success in the Europa League.

Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley, chairman of the judging panel, said: "It was a fantastic month for Birmingham, conceding only one goal in the process.

"What adds to this achievement is that their successful league form coincides with a great run in the Europa League."

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark won the League One award and Crawley boss Steve Evans took the League Two prize.
