Non-league round-up: Kidderminster win as Stafford Rangers and Chasetown reach Walsall Senior Cup final
Kidderminster Harriers further solidified their place in the play-off places emerging 2-0 winners at Darlington in the National League North.
Davis Davis provided the breakthrough 28 seconds after his half-time introduction when he raced on to Kieren Donnelly's through ball to confidently sweep his finish beyond the onrushing Rory Watson.
Third-placed Harriers put the seal on the win five minutes from time when Ryley Reynolds picked up a clearance inside his own half before embarking on a mesmerising solo run to double their advantage.
Adam Murray's charges now sit nine points clear in the automatic promotion places - with two games in hand over AFC Telford United in eighth.
Chasetown denied Rushall Olympic a place in their fourth Walsall Senior Cup final in five years after beating them 2-0 in their semi-final tie at Dales Lane.
The Scholars hit the front midway into the first half through Jack Langston before Nick Clayton-Phillips rattled the crossbar for Rushall.
But Jordan Evans doubled the visitors' lead with 14 minutes to go when he was first to pounce after Langston's shot rebounded off the crossbar.
They will meet Stafford Rangers in the final at Bescot on May 12 after they booked their place with a dramatic penalty shoot-out success at Sporting Khalsa.
Dom Perkins delivered the deadlock breaking moment of a cagey affair when he rippled the net with a darting header in the 75th-minute.
Khalsa had been knocking at the door after Curtis Tilt had seen his effort expertly repelled by Scott Moloney just moments before.
But Rangers rescued themselves from the jaws of defeat when Dylan Scott headed in from a corner in the dying stages.
That forced a penalty shoot-out which saw Rangers prevail 4-3 to reach the final for the first time since 2017.
