West Brom and Walsall fans discover end of season schedule dates as EFL confirm play-off dates and times
The end of the EFL season is edging closer with West Brom and Walsall having just a handful of games remaining.
For Albion fans, in one way the end of the season can't come soon enough after the play-off ambitions went up in smoke as they slipped further towards the drop zone.
There is still a danger of being dragged back in, but recent form under interim boss James Morrison has turned things around.
They are now four points clear of the bottom three heading into the final seven games - as they look to secure their Championship status in the coming weeks.
For the Saddlers, they are now looking to hold onto their hopes of reaching the play-offs, having slipped from the top of the table.
They have dropped out of the play-off spots - but are just two points off the top seven with a host of sides vying for that final spot.
Now they have discovered the end of season schedules heading into the play-offs, which the Saddlers will hope to be a part of.
The end of the regular season for the Championship, League One and League Two is pencilled in for Saturday May 2.
The final Championship games will kick off at 12.30pm, while the League One and Two games are scheduled for 3pm kick offs.
The play-offs will then take centre stage following the end of the regular season - and although the dates are now irrelevant for Albion fans, Walsall fans will be keeping one eye out on the dates in the hope they reach the end of season lottery.
The first legs of the two League Two play-offs are scheduled for Sunday May 10 - with the second legs set to take place on Friday May 15.
And the League Two final is in the diary for Monday May 25.
