Bristol City 'not downing tools' after poor run as midfielder issues warning ahead of West Brom clash
West Brom head to Ashton Gate tomorrow and will encounter a Bristol City side that has been on the slide in recent weeks.
While Albion's form under interim boss James Morrison has picked up in recent weeks - the Robins' have struggled.
Having been well in the play-off picture, they have picked up just one in their last seven league games and were beaten in the FA Cup by League One strugglers Port Vale.
But despite slipping out of the picture, midfielder Adam Randell has not given up hope of forcing their way in the back door of the top six.
And he is adamant the Robins won't be downing tools as they welcome Albion on Saturday.
He told Bristol Live: "If it's mathematically possible, then in our minds, it's fully on,".
"It's believable, and we're going to go for it.
"From my point of view, my mind's still on that.
"Regardless of exterior noise, it's not something that I focus on personally, and it's not something I'd expect the other lads to focus on. Within football, it's something that you learn that you need to focus on the inside and what you can affect.
"We're not going to lay down our tools at all. It's definitely not the case
"If you watched our training sessions, then you'd be well aware of that; it's super competitive, everybody wants to be playing, everybody wants to be doing their best, and we want to be winning games.
"That's the be-all and end-all."
