Wolves Women were left frustrated by a disallowed second-half goal in a first defeat of the season at title rivals Burnley.
Both the Clarets and Wolves entered the top-of-the-table clash unbeaten in Northern Premier but Burnley's Charlie Chadwick's finish after just six minutes would prove decisive at Turf Moor.
The visitors were left frustrated as defender Georgia Marshall, who swapped Burnley for Wolves last summer, thought she had headed equaliser from a free-kick just before the hour.
