Former West Brom defender and manager with two EFL promotions linked with Walsall job
Walsall fans have been having their say over who they want to succeed Mat Sadler - after the former defender was sacked on Wednesday.
Following just two wins in the last 14 games, a run that has seen the Saddlers slide from the top of the table to outside the play-offs, the decision was made to part ways with Sadler.
It came after the latest collapse, which was on the back of last season's run from Christmas that saw them blow automatic promotion and lose in the play-off final.
Number two Darren Byfield is in interim charge of this weekend's game - as the Saddlers work on a replacement.
Walsall fans have been having their say on who they want to replace the ex-defender - while other names have already been touted around for the job.
The possibility of potentially continuing with Byfield, or Terry Connor, who recently returned to the club as a coach, has been mentioned by some.
Connor, who has coached and managed in non-league and was more memorably in charge of Wolves following Mick McCarthy's sacking.
Elsewhere, one name on many people's lips is former Albion defender and manager Darren Moore.
Moore has been out of work since leaving Port Vale earlier in the season - and has previously taken charge of Albion before spells with Doncaster and more famously leading Sheffield Wednesday to promotion.
Another name mentioned by some is former Saddler Andy Butler, who is currently in charge at former EFL club Scunthorpe United, who are pushing for promotion from the National League.
Others who have been linked including ex-Huddersfield boss Lee Grant, who only had a short spell in charge of the Terriers.
Darren Ferguson is another EFL manager out of work and has been mentioned - but he ruled himself out of the running for the vacant Northampton Town job this week.
