The former defender, having been under pressure for a number of weeks, had won just two of his last 14 games, with Walsall sliding from the top of the table and out of the play-off spots.
After their latest defeat at Salford City on Tuesday evening - the club have parted company with Sadler, and the search is now on for a successor as the Saddlers look to revive their promotion ambitions.
