Wolverhampton Sunday League round-up: Emerald Athletic reach Ken Pemberton Cup final

Emerald Athletic booked their place in the Ken Pemberton Cup final after beating Ashmore Dog & Partridge 3-0 in the semi-finals.

Connaught United registered their first win of the season at the ninth time of asking with a 6-2 crushing of rock bottom AFC Willenhall in the Wolverhampton & District Sunday League Division One.

Tyrone Clarke bagged a brace for Connaught, as goals from Jabari Douglas, George Hague, Jimmy Hague and Manjil Sapkota completed the rout. 

Elsewhere, Victoria were forced to postpone their home fixture against AFC Bradford due to the weather.

In Division Two, Jordan Bradley scored the only goal as league leaders Warstones Wanderers Sunday moved five points clear with a 1-0 win over HT FC.

Bottom-place Bushbury Hill stunned DY United by emerging 5-0 victors thanks to a brace by Riley Cooper and goals from Jamie Harley, Ash Lloyd and an own goal.

Callum Anderson, Mark Giles and Max Hague were among the scorers for Tettenhall in their 3-1 success at Tettenhall Athletic. 

Meanwhile, Bradmore Social kept their title hopes alive with a 3-0 home victory over Dudley Rangers United.

Sebastian Clifton-Coles netted a hat-trick as Lonestar Hydrobolt Rangers romped to a 4-0 victory at Mental Health All-Stars in Division Three. 

Warstones Athletic cruised to an 8-0 demolition of second bottom Viking United in Division Four. 

Beckham Brazier helped himself to a hat-trick, Liam Parkes bagged a brace, while Chad Freeman, Connor Garrett and Rodney Williams completed the scoring. 

Warstones Wanderers AFC progressed in the GA Evans Cup after beating Charlie's Sports Bar 4-3 in their first round tie. 

Abraham Beddows-Ellahi, Dan Hartland and Michael Hancox scored for Sports Bar, but Harnek Bahia, Tyrique Douglas, Shane Thomas and Jose Junior notched to clinch victory for Wanderers. 

Black Country Phoenix eased to a 6-2 win at Mental Health Harriers in the CE Yardley Cup first round thanks to a brace by Jack Kelly and goals from Ben Cullen, Kye Maxwell, Flynn Hancox and Liam Dean. 

APR RBL defeated Spartans Athletic 1-0 in the second round of the competition courtesy of Shamar Lewis' match-winner. 

Nathan Myles, Chad Guy, Luke Simms and Luke Simons were all on the score sheet, as they inspired AFC Wolves into the third round with a 4-2 success at Wolves Pack.
