The 44-year-old, who lasted just eight months in the dugout at Walsall, will help with the Canaries' under-18 set-up alongside fellow coaches Greg Crane and Adem Atey.

Taylor was appointed Saddlers manager in May 2021, but was relieved of his duties the following February after a run of seven consecutive defeats.

In total, Taylor won just nine of his 36 games at the helm and left the Saddlers 21st in the table, only four points above the relegation zone.

Since, Taylor had an equally challenging spell in charge of Shrewsbury Town, where he was sacked just seven months into his reign in January 2024. n

He has most recently had spells in non-league with Wealdstone and Solihull Moors.
