Former Aston Villa who featured over 150 times and netted play-off derby goal linked with managerial move
His managerial career only began back in April but former Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane could already be on the move.
The Villa midfielder made more than 150 appearances for the club - before moving on in 2022, signing for Derby County and Barnsley.
It came after he had played a huge hand in Villa's return to the Premier League - before going on to feature heavily in their first season back in the top flight.
He ended his career at Barnsley, before going on to serve as assistant manager under Darrell Clarke.
However, back in April he made the step up to first team boss at the Tykes and he has had a reasonable start to life in the dugout.
Now he has been linked with a move away - to a former Premier League side struggling at the foot of the table.
Hourihane was odds on to get the Wigan Athletic job earlier this week - having sacked manager Ryan Lowe.
Now he has drifted to third favourite behind former Latics defender Gary Caldwell and ex-Southampton boss Will Still.
