Wolves summer signing agrees deal away as club prepares for two exits
Jhon Arias is set to join Brazilian side Palmeiras after a deal was agreed with Wolves.
The two clubs have settled on a £21.5million move, for a player Wolves bought for around £14.7million last summer from Fluminense.
That transfer included £4.3million in add-ons, but the Express & Star understands they have not been triggered, meaning Wolves will make around a £6.8million profit on the Colombian international.
Arias has played 23 Premier League games this season but has struggled to adapt to English football, scoring just once in the top flight.
The player is set to travel to Brazil next week to complete the move.
When asked about Arias in his pre-match press conference, head coach Rob Edwards said: "There's a deal agreed now between the clubs, so I expect that to happen in the coming days.
"We've been aware of it and that it could be the case. We've been in control of it and no-one would be leaving without our blessing, if we didn't think it was the right thing for the football club going forward.
"We wish them well and we believe it's the right thing for the club."
Emmanuel Agbadou is also set to depart after arriving in Turkey to complete a £17.5million switch to Besiktas.
Edwards also confirmed that deal would go through soon.
