Having served under Roy Hodgson and other managers - alongside Keith Downing he was credited with keeping Albion in the Premier League during a bizarre period when Pepe Mel was appointed as manager.

Released to Tony Pulis, he moved on to Preston and then Crystal Palace - where he served for a number of years.

Kiely played a key role in the backroom staff at Palace - as they went on to win the FA Cup last season.

But he was sacked last season by manager Oliver Glasner as the Palace boss looked to 'shake up' the goalkeeping department at the club.

After a period out of football the ex-Albion goalkeeper, who helped the club to the Championship title back in 2008, before going on to play a handful of times in the Premier League, is back in the game.

Kiely has been appointed as goalkeeping coach at Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.
