The Baggies forward has been a regular throughout the season in what could well be his last campaign at the club - with his contract running out at the end of the season.

However, he is set for up to three months on the sidelines now having picked up a hamstring injury in the early minutes of the draw with Derby last month.

Grant attempted a shot and then sprinted back to put in a tackle on a Rams player - but that was his last action in the game.

And that injury picked up led to Albion putting out an  update stating he was set for three months out.

Grant has now undergone surgery and posted a picture of him following his treatment on social media this week:

It is hoped that Grant will be back in contention for the end of the season. However, if he was to suffer any setbacks in his recovery he may well have played his last game if Albion decide against renewing his contract.
