Dudley closing on the Black Country Super League leaders

Dudley are now just 10 points off the summit with two games in hand after crushing Bostin 180 Bar 5-0 thanks to Jamie Rollinson, Harry Williams, Mark Rollinson, Tom Bissell and Phil Tonks winning.

PDC Tour player Bissell was the star of the show as he posted a 103.86 average, having just returned from his bid to qualify for the World Masters.

Bissell, the world No.80, beat Adam Gawlas 3-1 in sets before being edged out at the preliminary stage by a narrow 3-2 defeat to Owen Bates.

Elsewhere in the Black Country Super League, Allens C enjoyed a 4-1 victory over Soccer Zone A thanks to Rhys Butler, Craig Butler, Joe Turner and Luke Messer.

The opening games also took place in the West Midlands Super League, with Staffs Knot destroying Gilberts B 5-0 - Rob Thompson, Will Beaden, Dan Hands, Jack Aldridge (101.90 average) and Ryan O’Connor doing the damage.

Dog & Partridge had a great 5-0 victory at Junction A courtesy of Chris Slater, Wayne Jones, Dean Fullwood, Gavin Baker and Darren Williams, while Carrington Club defeated Landywood 5-0 with wins from Chris McFarlane Jnr, Reece Green, Jack Flowers, Alfie Corbett and Anthony Whitehouse.

Hotshots A kept up the pressure in the Coseley Friday League by crushing Hurst Hill 5-1 - George Jeavons, Richard Johnson, David Martin, Jamie Hughes and Alex Howells the victors.

Hotshots B came from 2-1 behind to beat Gate B 4-2, with Gareth Fox, Kian Rogers, Ryan Tinsley and Luke Messer all winning, while Gate A enjoyed a 4-2 victory at Baggeridge courtesy of Andy Ashton, Daniel Bridgewood, Paul Tonks and Nathan Jones.

Wednesfield Sunday League leaders Wednesfield Legion came from 2-1 down to defeat Tuns B 4-2 - Paul Bromley, Nick Skitt, Ryan Bourne and Craig Carey triumphing.

Junction had a 4-2 away victory at Golden Lion thanks to Mark Curley, Phil Mayo, Simon Potts and Paul Price, while Dog enjoyed a 4-2 victory at Gilberts B - Ant Moseley, Rich Brown, Jamie Daly and Paul Lucas doing the damage.

Pheasant claimed a topsy-turvy 4-3 victory over Junction D in the Wolverhampton Tuesday League courtesy of Mike Price, Jack Kennedy, Liam Davis and match-winner Andy Kennedy.

Gilberts A came from behind to defeat Dog A 4-3 thanks to Chris Hill, Steve Lynch, Jamie Webb and Jon Blakemore, while Woodfield won a tight 4-3 battle with Red Lion - John Bate, Wayne Horton, Paul Fellows and Tom Fletcher winning.
