Tony Mowbray linked with managerial return to West Brom relegation rival - with fellow former Baggies chief under pressure
A little over 12 months ago he was the man handed the task of steering Albion into the Championship play-offs.
A year on he could now be the man to go head to head with Albion in a battle to survive in the division.
Tony Mowbray's second coming at Albion lasted just a handful of games - as he was dismissed before the end of the season as Albion slid out of the top six race.
He has been out of the game since - but has now been linked with a potential return to one of Albion's relegation rivals to ironically replace another former Baggies chief who finds himself under increasing pressure.
According to reports, Blackburn are considering bringing Mowbray back to the club to replace Valerien Ismael, another former Albion manager who had a short stint at the club.
Rovers are currently just three points and one place below Albion in the table - having gone eight games without a win.
Reports on Sunday morning have claimed Blackburn are considering bringing Mowbray back to the club in a bid to fend off relegation.
It would be Mowbray's second return to a club in 12 months - having spent a number of years at Ewood Park, helping them to promotion back to the Championship.
