Mat Sadler issues injury updates on Walsall pair Albert Adomah and Jamille Matt
Mat Sadler expects Walsall pair Albert Adomah and Jamille Matt to be "fine" after they were both forced off in their 2-2 draw against Chesterfield at the SMH Group Stadium.
Will Grigg and Dilan Markanday fired Chesterfield into a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes, before Daniel Kanu halved the deficit just before half-time.
Matt was replaced by Adomah at half-time and the latter played an instrumental role in leading Walsall to a point when he equalised on the hour-mark.
The 38-year-old hobbled off in the closing stages due to a knee issue, while Matt had been experiencing a hip problem in the first half - Sadler has revealed.
"Firstly, I think Albert is fine. He just opened up his knee when he took a shot is what he told me," boss Sadler confirmed.
"Credit to him, he wants to be that pro that if he was feeling something, he didn't want to let the team down.

"I think Jamille should be fine too. He just opened up his hip but it felt like in terms of the press that he was working his socks off.
"Probably without little reward as well and we wanted to help him a little bit by changing things on the day.
"The team just needed a slight change today at half-time, even though the tendency might have been to stick with what we had at half-time because we were right back into the game.
Alfie Chang made his 'second debut' for the club after re-joining on a permanent deal on Friday. And Sadler said Walsall are still active heading into the final 48 hours of the transfer window, although he did not guarantee any further incomings.
"We're not sure, but we're active if that's the right word to use. We're looking but we have to make sure that whatever we do, is the right thing to do.
"They have to be the right player, the right person and all of that sort of stuff."
