Sunday League round-up: Warstones Athletic book their place in Tom Bird Cup final

Warstones Athletic booked their place in the Tom Bird Cup final after winning 2-0 at Viking United in the semi-finals.

Luke Love provided the breakthrough for Warstones, before Ben Lane put the seal on the win with a second. 

Kane Showell helped himself to a hat-trick to guide Ashmore Dog & Gun to a 9-0 crushing of Mental Health Lions in the second round of the Charity Cup.

Conor Potts bagged a brace, as goals from Antoine Julien, Rhys Horton, Steve Durnin and Soms Sibanda completed the rout. 

Tettenhall also progressed after they romped to a 6-2 success over Samba Olympic thanks to a treble by Mark Giles and goals from Jack Hague, Callum Anderson and Kye Elcock. 

Leon Roberts, Siphesihle Shezi, Rio Dodd and Jordan Hall were on the score sheet for AFC Huntmen in their 4-1 victory against Mental Health Sports in the CE Yardley Cup first round.

Warstones Wanderers AFC trail Division One leaders on goal difference after continuing their 100 per cent record with a 4-3 win over AFC Willenhall. 

Chad Birch, Godfred Summerville, Billy Morgan and Junior Ayambour helped AFC register their sixth win from as many games. 

Third-place Victoria eased to a 4-1 triumph against Shepwell Wanderers courtesy of goals from Chad Degville, Liam Degville, Daniel Scragg and Ryan Wilkins. 

In Division Two, bottom-place Bushbury Hill came from three goals down to salvage a 3-3 draw in a thrilling fightback against Tettenhall Athletic. 

Chris Wood broke the deadlock before a brace from Lee Turner either side of half-time propelled visitors Tettenhall into a seemingly unassailable 3-0 lead. 

Josh Moreton and Riley Cooper pulled two goals back within three minutes, and Ash Lloyd rescued a point with the all-important equaliser in the 84th-minute.

Elsewhere, Akio Ellis climbed off the bench to score twice as Charlie's Sports Bar emerged 2-1 victors at DY United.

AFC Wolves missed the chance to go top of Division Three after slipping to a surprise 3-2 defeat at Mental Health All Stars.

Yohan Mistral scored twice for the All Stars and was joined on the score sheet by Luke Henson. Spartans Athletic moved level on 18 points with AFC Wolves after winning 5-2 at strugglers Wolves Pack United.

Codsall Wanderers beat Bradmore United 4-1 thanks to goals from Daniel Wren, Max Moore, Richard Critchlow and Ryan Connolly.

Division Four leaders Ashmore Park Rangers RBL moved five points clear with a 3-1 home victory over Mental Health, as Dan Hopson bagged a brace.
