Walsall vs Accrington - prime time to reignite League Two promotion charge
Walsall have a prime opportunity to reignite their flame in the League Two promotion race.

They host Accrington Stanley at Bescot on Saturday and are in action on home soil again when Crawley Town visit WS1 on Tuesday evening.
Walsall cut the gap behind League Two leaders Bromley from eight to six points after returning to winning ways at Tranmere Rovers last weekend.
Priestley Farquharson, Daniel Kanu and Jamille Matt were among the scorers to help guide Walsall to their first win of 2026.
Alex Pattison also impressed on his league debut, as Mat Sadler inverted his midfield in Merseyside with Brandon Comley at the base and Jamie Jellis deployed in a more advanced role.

Another crunch weekend ahead in League Two promotion race
Bromley were held to a goalless draw at Chesterfield and another favourable result for the Saddlers saw Swindon Town lose 3-2 at home to Salford City.
That has made the air around the summit even thinner with Swindon, Walsall and Salford all locked on 46 points.
