Rugby round-up: Stourbridge strengthen play-off push, Dudley Kingswinford woes continue
Stourbridge moved four points clear in the Division One Midlands play-off places after easing to a 26-0 victory over third from bottom Drybrook.
Dudley Kingswinford continued to struggle after they drew 19-19 in their bottom-of-the-table clash at Nuneaton.
Elliott Brown and Arron Skyrme scored early tries for Nuneaton, before Thomas Walker reached the line to pull Dudley back into the contest.
Kingswinford got back on level terms with another try just past the half-hour mark, although Michael Volaikisuva restored Nuneaton's lead 12 minutes into the second half.
William Elsmore rescued a draw in the dying embers when his try was followed by a conversion from Joseph Dunn.
Meanwhile, Lichfield suffered a 28-26 defeat at second-place Newport (Salop) to leave them in seventh.
Walsall remain third in the Regional Two Midlands North after stylishly seeing off Paviors in a 46-27.
Old Halesonians are rooted to the foot of Regional Two Midlands West following a 40-19 defeat at Edwardians.
In the Counties One Midlands West (North), Burntwood emerged 29-27 victors at Crewe & Nantwich and Stourbridge II strengthened their survival hopes with a 32-5 triumph at Telford Hornets.
Stourbridge II sit third from bottom after tries from Charlie Thompson, Harry Woolridge, Jason Hampton and Mohammed Arif sealed an important victory against rock bottom Telford.
Second from bottom Kidderminster kept their faint hopes of survival alive with a narrow 39-38 win at Old Leamingtonians in the Counties One Midlands West (South).
Tries from Thomas Maher, Scott Brooks, David Ray, Jesse Burgess and Ryan Tiene coupled with a pair of penalties and four conversions by Alfie Barrett guided Kidderminster to a much-needed win.
Counties Two Midlands West (West) leaders Willenhall beat Bridgnorth Bulls 37-20 courtesy of braces from Ewan Zagorski and Adam Cooper, and further from Jordan Blackham, Ashley Hartland and Thomas Bayley.

In the Counties Three Midlands West (South), Walsall II climbed into third after condemning Bishops Castle & Onny Valley to a 71-12 demolition.
Dudley Kingswinford II edged to a 22-21 triumph over Old Yarleians to sit sixth, while fourth-place Warley lost 41-10 at Hereford II.
Bloxwich and Burntwood II were handed home walkovers against Newcastle (Staffs) III and Aldridge respectively in the Counties Four Midlands West (North).
