Robert Whame made a 76 break - the highest in the division - but was unable to prevent Stafford Institute falling to a 3-2 defeat to Poets Corner.
Landywood romped to a 4-1 demolition of Hotshots B thanks to Jack Harris, Robbie James, Bill Stanton and Dave Turner.
Elsewhere, Shifnal War Memorial beat Baggeridge Social Club 3-2 - while Sedgley Ex Service defeated Shifnal B 3.2

Landywood F dropped to the bottom of the division after falling to a 4-1 home defeat against Pennfields.
Q Bar Juniors climbed into 2nd in Division Three as Bobbie Wilson, Thomas Wilkes, Lucas Walker, Archie Buskin and Alex Hodgen guided them to a 5-0 whitewash at Cannock Cons.
Sedgley Ex Service B dropped to 3rd with a 4-1 defeat at Old Hall Snooker Club, who moved up to fourth.
Wednesfield Cons B slipped out of the top four following a 3-2 defeat to Bilston Sports and Social B, while Bilston Bowling Club C enjoyed a whitewash victory over relegation rivals Wolverhampton Electric B.
Old Hall Snooker Club B moved 19 points clear of the top of Division Four with a 4-1 victory over Aldridge Cons thanks to Neil Bentley, James Wilde, Jake Bridges and Callum Stone.
Meanwhile, Forty Four Club beat Lea Hall WMC 4-1 and Rugeley edged to a 3-2 success over Forty Four Club C.
Landywood D booked their place in the Inter Town semi-finals with a 4-3 win over Halesowen, along with Wolverhampton B, who defeated Birmingham Efficiency by the same score-line.
In the Inter Town plate, Landywood B inflicted a 7-0 whitewash and Wolverhampton beat Telford C 4-3.
Elsewhere, Neil Beckley, Wayne Powell and Mark Wall all won 3-0 to reach the Secretaries Handicap semi-finals, as Jamie Browne and Hasan Hussain progressed into the last four of the Mick Faulkner Champion of Champions.
