The 24-year-old sustained the injury during the Saddlers' 2-0 defeat at Cambridge United on New Year's Day, but still featured in their 5-1 drubbing at Norwich in the FA Cup on Sunday.

However, Sadler has revealed that Pressley has continued to struggle with the issue, although he is still hopeful that he will be available for the visit of Accrington Stanley next Saturday.

Boss Sadler said: "Aaron broke his hand against Cambridge but I think he could be available for Accrington.

"But he didn't feel that he could compete with the grappling and the physical side during the Norwich game in the way that he wants to do.

"I'd imagine he'll be fit for the next game though."
