Walsall assistant Gary Waddock set to return next week after ankle surgery
Mat Sadler has confirmed that Walsall assistant manager Gary Waddock will resume his duties next week.
Waddock had to temporarily step away from his role after undergoing ankle surgery in September.
The 63-year-old, who has been part of the backroom staff since 2023, was initially succeeded by former Charlton Athletic and Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell on an interim basis.
