Albion fell a goal behind to an unfortunate own goal - before they fired in a second goal after the break.
Then out of nowhere they drew themselves level thanks to an Isaac Price free kick and a strike from Jed Wallace.
It looked like only one side was going to win it before Boro struck late on.
