Jeremy Sarmiento failed to hit the mark during his half season loan move to West Brom.

The Brighton winger arrived at Albion in 2023 as the club's main signing of a quiet summer transfer window.

He showed flicks and tricks and excited Albion fans in early substitute appearances.

The highlight of his spell was a winning goal in a victory at Cardiff City - but that is about as good as it got for the Ecuador international.

He made just seven starts and 13 substitute appearances - before he was recalled by his parent club.

Sarmiento then went on to Ipswich Town for the remainder of the season - before a loan move at Burnley then followed.

Back in the summer he then moved to Serie A with Cremonese - joining the club alongside former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

His time in Italy has not gone according to plan with the winger making just seven appearances from the bench.

And now he looks like he is on the move again - this time back in England.

According to reports, the former Albion man is all set to join Middlesbrough on a loan deal until the end of the season.
