Matej Jurasek kick-started the rout when he opened the scoring for the Canaries with a powerful effort past Myles Roberts on the quarter-hour mark.

Jovon Makama scored the first of an eventual hat-trick nine minutes later and put the seal on the win with a pair of composed finishes after the interval.

Substitute Courtney Clarke reduced the arrears with a stunning strike from distance, but Tony Springett rounded off a comfortable win for Norwich in stoppage time.

Mistakes 'made it tough' - Sadler

Walsall were comfortably knocked out of the FA Cup after losing 4-1 at Championship side Norwich City in the third round.
Walsall have lost three consecutive games in all competitions.

"Their striker was amazing on the day and he was too hot for us to handle," boss Sadler said.
