A swift reunion and last-gasp winner - Walsall's last 6 FA Cup third round ties
Walsall travel to Carrow Road to face Championship side Norwich City in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.
It will be the third time in four seasons that the Saddlers have participated at this stage of the competition and the second time under current boss Mat Sadler.
Here are the last six times Walsall have played in the third round of the FA Cup.
Southampton 4-0 Walsall - 2024
Walsall eased to a 4-1 rout at eighth-tier Sheppey United, before navigating their way through a tricky saga against non-league Alfreton Town.
With the initial tie called off due to a frozen pitch just minutes before kick-off, Walsall returned three days later to serve up a dismal goalless stalemate.

Jamille Matt scored the only goal in the replay at Bescot to set-up a lucrative third round tie against Championship side St Mary's.
Over 2,200 Saddlers fans made the trip to Hampshire, but there was to be no cup upset on the cards.
A brace from Ryan Fraser and goals from Sekou Mara and Che Adams sealed a comfortable 4-0 win for the Saints on the day.
Stockport 1-2 Walsall - 2023
Walsall had beaten Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 and Carlisle United 2-1 to reach this stage of the competition for the first time in four years.
