Walsall face Championship side Norwich City in the FA Cup on Sunday and Northampton Town in the EFL Trophy next Wednesday.

After beating Eastleigh and Gateshead earlier in the competition, Walsall have set-up a lucrative tie against Championship side Norwich City at Carrow Road in the FA Cup third round.

The Saddlers have reached the third round in three of the last four seasons - with the only exception being last season after they lost 4-0 to Charlton Athletic at Bescot in the round prior.

Mat Sadler has also guided Walsall into the round of 16 of the EFL Trophy for the second season in a row, where they will face League One side Northampton Town at Sixfields Stadium.

They had less success in the League Cup after bowing out at the first hurdle following a penalty shoot-out defeat at Stoke City back in August.

Walsall have pocketed £127,250 in total from their FA Cup exploits so far this season.

They made £47,750 from their 3-0 win at Eastleigh in the first round and a further £79,500 when they beat Gateshead 2-0 in the following round.

If Walsall manage to pull off an upset at Norwich and progress to the next round, then they will bank £121,500.

Even if they lose, the Saddlers will still take home another £26,500.
