The now former head coach spoke to the media following Monday night's 2-1 defeat at Leicester City - here is what he had to say...

On 'support' from the owners

"I can't speak for anyone else," said Mason. "I've felt support the whole time.

"My job is to try and get results and to continue to work and try and continue to build this club back up to where we want to be."

He continued: "Obviously our situation is tough in terms of some of the business that we've had to do and some of the business we've done, but I think the reality is we shouldn't be where we are.

"I could play this season out another 10 times and we'd have a lot more points than what we've got now from the performances that we've had.

"Sometimes football can be harsh and you can be incredibly unlucky and we're in a spell where I just don't feel like we're getting anything for what our performances deserve."
