'Corberan, resignation': Valencia fans turn on ex-West Brom boss Carlos Corberan as dream move turns sour

Carlos Corberan's time at Valencia seems to have turned a bit sour for the former Albion chief.

The Albion boss, who led Albion to the play-offs having taken over while they were in the Championship relegation zone - left the club last Christmas to take over at his boyhood club.

His task was to help them survive in La Liga - and he did that and then some.

Corberan guided his side to top results over the big sides in the division, such as Barcelona and Real Madrid - and in the end they were not far off qualifying for Europe.

But this season has not gone to plan for the Spaniard - who remains popular among the Albion fans.

His side are without a victory in their last five games - and have slipped into the bottom three.

And their latest defeat at the weekend, a 4-1 loss to Celta Vigo, has seen the fans in Valencia turn on the ex-Albion boss.

He was greeted outside the ground by jeers and boos - with some shouting for Corberan to resign following the latest defeat.
