'For me to know' - Mat Sadler remains coy on Walsall's January transfer plans

Walsall boss Mat Sadler is not yet willing to make his plans public ahead of the January transfer window.

His side ended 2025 with a heartbreaking late defeat against Oldham Athletic, which saw Walsall drop into third-place in League Two. 

Sadler oversaw a mass overhaul of the squad in the summer - signing 14 players and letting a further 10 leave (excluding loans).

But he is keen to keep his cards close to his chest with the winter window set to open on Thursday.

"That's probably for me to know. I'm very happy with the squad though," Sadler said.
