Three changes with key man dropped after Boxing Day: West Brom predicted line-up with Ryan Mason desperate for victory
Albion desperately need some festive cheer as they welcome QPR to The Hawthorns on Monday night.
Albion lost for only the second time on home soil on Boxing Day - but the picture is a lot bleaker than that may seem.
The away record reads eight losses on the bounce and they are 16th, in real danger of being dragged into the relegation battle.
Ryan Mason needs something to cling onto - as do the Albion fans.
So how will he go about it on Monday?
For the first time since he brought in Joe Wildsmith, he has a decision to make between the sticks. Josh Griffiths did little wrong to be shunted out to the bench in place of Wildsmith.
Wildsmith's big error begs the question of whether Mason should make a change. Many will say he should do but I can't see it coming.
Elsewhere, Krystian Bielik comes back in and if fit enough will start in the heart of the backline.
They are still without the suspended Alfie Gilchrist, while Jayson Molumby is back and fit but like Bielik it is whether Mason will decide to start him.
The other change could be Alex Mowatt, who came off the bench as he returned from an injury lay off.
And there could be a potential change in the number ten role with Isaac Price still off the boil. Mason brought Maja in a few weeks back and he could do so again.
Albion: Wildsmth, Campbell, Phillips, Bielik, Styles, Diakite, Mowatt, Johnston, Maja, Grant, Heggebo
Subs: Wildsmith, Mepham, Taylor, DuPont, Molumby, Iling-Junior, Price, Dike, Bostock
