West Brom and Birmingham book fourth round spot but heartbreak for Wolves and Khalsa
Albion and Birmingham City booked their place in the Women's FA Cup fourth round - but there was elimination heartbreak for Wolves and Sporting Khalsa.
Dan McNamara's Wolves were edged out 2-1 by Nottingham Forest at the neutral venue of Hednesford Town's Keys Park on Saturday in front of the live television cameras.
The tie was shown on Channel 4 in the broadcaster's first airing of a live women's FA Cup tie, but it went against a Wolves side who suffered just a second defeat of the calendar year after exiting the competition to Manchester United last season in February.
McNamara's side are second and unbeaten in the Northern Premier Division but came unstuck at home to Women's Super League 2 outfit Forest, of the division above.
Forest profited from two early goals in Staffordshire as Georgia Brougham netted on four minutes and Amiee Claypole doubled the lead on 20 minutes.
Wolves were rocked but responded well either side of half-time and defender Georgia Marshall headed in from Anna Morphet's free-kick to halve the deficit just before the hour. Substitute Chloe Williams thrashed a shot just over and Marshall had a shot parried away as Wolves fell to defeat.

McNamara said: "I'm hugely proud of the girls and how we represented the club. It's small details when you're playing opposition of that class, you have to be on it in every minute."
There will be regional representation in the fourth round as Albion won 3-0 at Northern Division One Leeds.
Three goals in the final 20 minutes including Monique Robinson's fine strike from range, Ellie May and Mia Sorrento saw Siobhan Hodgetts-Still's side progress.
Albion and Wolves meet in a league Black Country derby on Sunday at the Baggies' Alexander Stadium (2pm kick-off).
Blues proved too strong for Sporting Khalsa of the division below as the WSL 2 side ran out 6-0 winners.
The hosts took a 2-0 lead into half-time at St Andrew's and netted another fourth after the interval to bring an end to a proud run from Northern Premier bottom side Khalsa.
Villa were dealt a heavy 6-1 defeat at Super League leaders Manchester City as Khadija Shaw scored four for the hosts.
City led 1-0 at the break and made it three by the hour when Lucy Parker pulled one back for Villa, but Natalia Arroyo's side were well beaten.
Lye Town solidified third in West Midlands Premier with a fine 3-0 home winner over leaders Redditch Borough. Hednesford were seen off 3-2 at Keys Park by Shifnal.
In-form leaders Walsall made it six wins from six at the summit of Division One North with a 6-0 triumph at AFC Telford.
Mia Fellows thrashed in a hat-trick with substitute Chloe Astell twice on target, as well as Rhiannon Bate.
Lichfield are second on goal difference having played one game more after a 9-0 hammering of Whitchurch Alport. Courtney Dilger fired in four.
