The third round clash on December 13 at Hednesford Town’s Keys Park will be the first women’s FA Cup match ever shown on the free-to-air channel.

Kicking-off at 12.15pm, it will also be broadcast on TNT Sports 1.

Wolves’ second round win over Stoke City was also on TNT and was the team’s first match ever shown on mainstream television.

The clash with Forest is the first match Channel 4 will screen as part of their new broadcast deal with the FA.

Wolves and Forest are familiar rivals in the Women’s National League, with the East Midlands club edging a thrilling title race last season.

Their captain, Lyndsey Harkin, is now Wolves assistant boss while Amy Sims, Becky Anderson and Charlotte Greengrass have all moved across to the West Midlands in the past 18 months.

This month’s tie is the second time the clubs have met in the Cup, with a then fourth tier Wolves side knocking out third tier Forest on penalties in 2021.

Ticket information for the match will be announced shortly.
