Charlotte Greengrass bagged a brace for the Old Gold - opening the scoring in the sixth-minute, before putting the seal on the win six minutes from time.

That latest success was Wolves' ninth in 10 league games and eighth win in a row in the Northern Premier Division, as they boast a game in hand on league leaders Burnley.

Greengrass added the finishing touches to a fine interchange between herself and Amy Sims early on, and the pair combined again when Greengrass forced a fine stop by Derby goalkeeper Lucy Jones in the second half.

She did eventually double her tally and Wolves' lead in the latter stages when she rose highest to plant her header beyond the reach of Jones after meeting Anna Morphet's cross.

West Brom dropped to sixth-place after falling to a 1-0 home defeat against Halifax Town at the Alexander Stadium.

Eleanor Ashton scored the only goal of the contest for Halifax when she was picked out by Macy Settle's cross to roll a calm finish beyond Charlotte Clarke.
