Victor Lindelof happy to be 'Mr Versatile' as he chases glory with Aston Villa
Victor Lindelof claims he’s happy to be “Mr Versatile” as he chases silverware with Villa.
The 31-year-old Sweden international made his third start for the club but first in his most familiar position of centre-back in Thursday’s 2-1 Europa League win over Young Boys.
Lindelof had previously played at right-back and even in midfield since joining on a free transfer earlier this season but claims he’s happy to fit in where needed for boss Unai Emery.
“I am just happy to be here and help in whatever way possible,” he said. “If that is at right-back, centre midfield or centre half, it is up to the manager.
“Every time I am on the pitch I am trying to do my best and help the team. In the end it is up to the manager to decide.
