Harriers will be on the road to National League North rivals Worksop Town after progressing through the second round with a 3-0 win over lower-league Corby Town on Saturday.

Luke Spokes, Amari Morgan-Smith and Kurt Willoughby got the goals in a comfortable win to take Harriers to a third-round encounter on Saturday, December 13.

Harriers have reached the fifth round in each of the last two seasons, but have a storied history in the national competition.

They were 2-1 winners over Burton Albion in a final replay at The Hawthorns in the 1986/87 season - having drawn the initial Wembley final 0-0 - and have also been runners-up on three further occasions.

They lost 2-1 to Wycombe Wanderers at Wembley in 1991 and were beaten by the same scoreline by Woking back at the national stadium four years later.

Their most recent trip down Wembley Way was in 2007 when they lost 3-2 against Stevenage Borough.

This year's third-round winners will receive £4,500 from the FA prize fund and losers will get £1,250.

Kidderminster are currently nine points and 10 places above Worksop in the National League North table - and the two sides drew 1-1 at Worksop on August 16.

David Davis's goal for Harriers was cancelled out by Luke Waterfall during the first half.
