Women's round-up: Wolves grab late winner, while Villa beaten at home
Wolves Women extended their winning run to 13 games in all competitions with a late Amber Hughes winner against Loughborough Lightning.

Dan McNamara's side kept pressure on National League Northern Premier Division rivals Burnley with a 94th minute winner on Sunday.
Wolves initially took the lead through Beth Merrick who pounced on a loose ball, swivelled and lashed it into the back of the net.
But Lightning, who sit second from bottom in the relegation places, responded with two quickfire goals to take the lead just before half-time.
Charlotte Greengrass equalised in the 67th minute and it was Wolves who were pushing for a third.
They eventually found it in the 94th minute when Hughes lifted the ball over the goalkeeper to maintain Wolves' winning run.
Hughes said: "The ideal is winning comfortably, but sometimes those games are more special.

"Moving forward, for what we want to achieve this year, maybe that will be a stand-out game and in months to come we'll look back.
"To be honest, I thought I was offside, but I ran for it and hit it and I was so glad. The celebrations were brilliant."
McNamara added: "It's hard to sum that up.
"They were excellent and caused us a lot of problems throughout the 90 minutes, but you can't always control the variables in football and one thing you can control is your willingness to win.
"When you've got to go to the trenches, what have you got left in the tank to get through? I think we've seen that 10 fold in that second half, I thought we were tremendous.
"The reaction after half-time was brilliant and that's what good teams need. You have to have a bit of luck and that real desire to succeed. The girls were tremendous in displaying that."

Elsewhere in the league, West Brom won 3-1 at Sporting Khalsa.
Lucy Day scored on her Albion debut to give them the lead, but Khalsa quickly responded.
A second half Khalsa own goal and a finish from Ellie May rounded off the win for Albion.
In the Women’s Super League, Aston Villa lost 3-1 at home to London City Lionesses.

Saki Kumagai gave City the lead with a header from close range before a blunder from goalkeeper Elene Lete saw Kirsty Hanson equalise for Villa when her shot went through the goalkeeper's legs.
Isobel Goodwin restored City's lead six minutes into the second half before Kumagai headed home from a corner for a second time shortly after to kill off the contest.
In the Women’s Super League 2, Birmingham City put in a dominant display to beat Portsmouth 5-2, while in the National League Division One Midlands, Stourbridge earned a 1-0 win at Northampton Town.
In the West Midlands League Premier Division, Hednesford Town won 2-0 at home to Alvechurch in a crunch basement battle fixture.
The bottom two sides faced off and it was Hednesford that picked up a crucial victory, with goals from Holly Bullock and Jess Rayner.
In the West Midlands League Division One North, high-flying Walsall took a break from league action and focused on the Women's Challenge Cup, where they comfortably beat Birmingham Medsoc 8-1.
Chasetown lost in the cup, however, as they were beaten 2-1 at Leek Town.
