Walsall's Jamie Jellis "fighting to be fit" but a major doubt ahead of Colchester clash
Mat Sadler says Walsall midfielder Jamie Jellis will be "fighting to be fit" but is still a major doubt ahead of the visit of Colchester United on Saturday.
Jellis was forced to sit out the Saddlers' 4-2 win at Newport County last Saturday due to a groin issue that he has been nursing for several weeks.
The 24-year-old has registered two assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for Walsall this term.
Sadler confirmed last week that Harrison Burke is set to be absent again due to a knee injury, but he is targeting a return for Harrogate Town on November 22.
"There are still players trying to fight back. Jamie and Harrison are both fighting to be back," boss Sadler confirmed.
