Albion go into the game on the back of a poor run of results - the latest coming in the form of a last minute defeat to Charlton on Tuesday night.

Back at The Hawthorns, he has been handed a big fitness boost as midfielders Jayson Molumby and Toby Collyer return to the squad following spells out injured.

They are both among the substitutes - while Mason has made three changes from the trip to The Valley.

Alfie Gilchrist returns to the starting line-up in place of Krystian Bielik, while Mikey Johnston has also been recalled for Samuel Illing-Junior.

And up front Josh Maja is back in the eleven in place of Aune Heggebo who drops to the bench.

Elsewhere, as was the case at Charlton, ever present defender Chris Mepham finds himself among the substitutes with Charlie Taylor retaining his place at the back.

Mason moved to a back three on Tuesday night with mixed success - and he could well go with that system again, with Nat Phillips, Taylor and Gilchrist making up a back three.

Griffiths; Gilchrist, Phillips, Taylor, Styles; Mowatt (c), Diakite; Johnston, Price, Grant; Maja. Subs: Wildsmith, Bielik, Mepham, Collyer, Molumby, Bany, Iling-Junior, Dike, Heggebo.
