Henrik Pedersen wary of 'strong' West Brom with former Albion midfielder missing for Sheffield Wednesday clash

Sheffield Wednesday fans are set to travel to The Hawthorns in their numbers - fresh from being released from the shackles of hated owner Dijon Chansiri.

The Owls' well publicised off field issues came to a head last week - when the club was forced into administration after months of off field turmoil.

The news was greeted with joy by Wednesday fans and despite a 12 point deduction leaving them on minus six points - the future looks bright with a number of prospective owners interested in buying the club.

Wednesday will make their first away trip since last week's news on Saturday - when they travel to The Hawthorns to face Ryan Mason's Baggies.

They will be doing it with a squad that will be without four long term absentees - including former Baggies midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah.

The midfielder, who spent 18 months at Albion before being released last summer, has been out since a clash with Leicester City in August, in which he scored.

He has featured just once all season and is likely to still be sidelined when Wednesday head to Albion on Saturday.

'A strong team'

Wednesday boss Henrik Pedersen has had to navigate a number of different issues in recent weeks - mostly off field stuff.

But attention is fully back on the playing side now, and after last week's 2-1 defeat to Oxford they are looking to cause an upset against Mason's side.

And speaking in his Thursday press conference, Pedersen was complimentary regarding Albion, and laid out the challenges his side will face on Sunday.

He said: "It is a strong team, I will call it a possession team.

"They are strong on the ball and one of the teams in the league with the most passes per time they have the ball.

"It is a game where to win the ball in pressing we have to invest a lot and be prepared to have a long time without the ball.

"They are good to move the ball quickly, to keep the ball and speed up the game.

"One of the challenges is in the press, to get enough players involved in the press.

"They have four front players who, when we are on the ball, we have to keep an eye on.

"Those four front players are good in transition, so we have to start with those two things."
