Held at Brands Hatch, the Bathams AJN rider carried his momentum into the finale and was able to finish 2025 on a high.

Stacey made a good start in the two free practice sessions before turning his attention to qualifying and the fast and furious 15-minute session saw the Staffordshire star complete seven laps and set the 14th fastest time, just 1.472 seconds shy of pole position.

A packed out crowd watched the opening 20-lap race of the weekend and Stacey held his own to finish 11th before he moved on to the 10-lap sprint race and the relentless pace of the race made it an exciting watch.

Stacey found himself in the thick of a multi-rider battle and he overcame that challenge to bring his BMW home in ninth place.

The final race of the weekend took place over 20 laps and Stacey rose to the challenge in wet conditions.

A strong start saw him make up ground and by mid-race he had climbed into the top five.

By lap 18 he had moved up to fourth and he just missed out on a podium place after a thrilling fight with Tommy Bridewell for third.

That impressive end to the weekend saw Stacey secure 10th place in the overall British Superbike Championship standings, and he will now take confidence going into the 2026 season, which kicks off at Oulton Park in May.

Stacey said: “Obviously I’m over the moon with how the season has gone.

"When I joined Bathams AJN Racing, I knew just like everyone else that they were a brand new team and that they were going to use a one year old race bike bought from another team which on the surface might have looked like a bit of gamble for me.

"However, I also knew with the experience in the garage, and the fact that they are a small team, that there was a lot of potential there.

"To have scored points in 28 out of 33 races and bag eight top five’s too has been a big step for me. To be able to put a consistent season together like that has been the one thing I’ve not been able to do up until now, so all my instincts were right after me and Michael first spoke.

"The weekend itself was one of those ones we really had to grind out and fight for every single tenth of a second in every session. That said, the races were all fantastic and I just had a ball riding flat out and swopping places with other riders.

"Of course, I really want to say a massive thanks to all the teams’ sponsors, and everyone in the garage for working so damn hard, and of course to Michael, who even managed a smile after race three!”

Banthams AJN Racing finished ninth overall in the team's championship.
