'We should have more': Ryan Mason gives West Brom early season review and points to what Albion need to show more of
Ryan Mason has admitted he is relatively happy with what he has seen from his new Albion side so far - but it could have been better.
Mason has seen his side pick up 17 points from eleven games - as they sit eleventh in the table heading into a clash with Ipswich Town.
Albion began the season on fire with three wins from the first four games - as Mason enjoyed a near perfect start to the campaign.
Since then and a defeat to Derby County, Albion have pick up just two wins, away at Norwich City with only their second home win of the season coming last week against Preston.
Albion's form has been patchy in recent weeks - but despite that they could have climbed up as high as third in midweek.
Mason was asked how he would review Albion's start to the campaign on Sky Sports ahead of their clash with Ipswich - the Baggies boss outlined what his side needed to show more of.
"It is so early with the international breaks, there is a lot of disruption and we have boys who go away.
"It has been a bit inconsistent to be honest.
"There are games where we have deserved better results, we have conceded a few goals in the 90th and the 93rd minutes and we should have extra points on the board.
"It happens, we understand that and there are plenty of games and points to compete for.
"We are still finding ourselves and growing and there was a big turnover in the summer."
"I'm relatively happy with performances and we have had decent results, the challenge for us now is a level of consistency, and when we are not performing well, we are still picking up points."
