Former West Brom forward who turned down new deal scores absolutely ridiculous goal from inside own half

Reyes Cleary is really making his name away from The Hawthorns - after turning down a new West Brom deal in the summer to join Barnsley.

Having been highly rated coming through the academy at Albion - the forward went out on loan last season to Hartlepool United and made a big impact in the National League.

It came after a short stint with Walsall - and a handful of first team appearances for Albion.

The club had seen enough from his displays in the National League to offer him a contract extension - but the forward turned it down in favour of a switch to the League One Tykes.

And he has been making his mark for Barnsley, earning a starting place before netting his first goal in a 2-2 draw with Wycombe last week.

Then on Saturday, he grabbed the headlines with an absolutely ridiculous strike for his side in their trip to Bradford City.

With the visitors 1-0 down, Cleary picked up the ball on the edge of the centre circle in his own half - before looking up and lobbing the keeper from inside his own half.
