Sunday League round-up: Emerald Athletic cruise to victory in FA Sunday Cup

Emerald Athletic condemned AFC Wrekin to a 6-1 demolition to progress to the second round of the FA Sunday Cup.

Louie Mason bagged a brace, as goals from Jake Pearson, Jack Stanley, George Lycett and James McGrady completed the rout. 

Warstones Wanderers AFC overtook Emeralds at top spot in Division One with a 3-1 home success over AFC Bradmore. 

Shane Thomas netted twice for AFC and Luqman Wirba completed the scoring to maintain their 100 per cent record after four games. 

Suar Dedja scored a hat-trick for AFC Willenhall but was unable to prevent them from succumbing to a 4-3 home defeat against Shepwell Wanderers. 

Tyron Head, Lewis Morris, Mark Webster and Luke Smith netted for Shepwell to get them off the mark for the season. 

Elsewhere, Barnhurst Lane Lions netted two first half penalties to defeat Connaught United 2-1 on home soil.

Division Two leaders Warstones Wanderers Sunday maintained their 100 per cent record with a 4-2 victory over Tettenhall Athletic. 

Jordan Bradley, Alex Grocutt, Alex Banks and Armend Tora scored for Warstones, while Lee Turner and Chris Wood grabbed consolation goals for Tettenhall. 

HTFC also started the season with four wins on the spin after cruising to a 4-1 victory at DY United courtesy of goals from Tyler Goodyear, Aaron Hickman, Lewis Round and Alfie Auden. 

Bradmore Social continued their unbeaten start by registering their third win in four games with a 3-2 triumph at Warstones Wanderers WN. 

Bradley Lawley, Daniel Munday and Andrew Westwood scored for Bradmore, who were reduced to 10-men after Reece Simmonds was dismissed for two bookable offences. 

Connor Forrester and Alex Taylor were on the score sheet for Warstones WN, who suffered their first defeat of the campaign. 

Dudley Rangers United served up an entertaining six-goal thriller, as they shared the spoils with Bushbury Hill. 

Kieran Hearne bagged a brace and Callum Campbell scored the other for Dudley, while Isaac Meggoe, Junior Miles and Goran Sangha netted for Bushbury. 

Meanwhile, Tettenhall romped to a 6-0 victory over Dynamo 50 Stile thanks to braces from Max Hague and Philip Mann, and goals from Callum Anderson and Callum Corbett. 

AFC Wolves moved level on points at the Division Three summit after beating early league leaders Black Country Phoenix 2-1. 

Luke Simons and Jamie Archer scored the all decisive goals, as Dominic Woodstock notched for the Phoenix. 

Alfie Cartwright produced a nine-minute hat-trick to lead Lonestar Hydrobolt Rangers to a 6-0 thrashing of Bradmore United. 

Ade Beckford, Reece Oakley and Ellis Scoring completed the scoring for Lonestar. 

Elsewhere, Yohann Essoki, Jordan Norris and Matthew Lewis helped guide Mental Health All-Stars to a 3-2 success over Mental Health Sports. 

In Division Four, league leaders Samba Olympic saw their 100 per cent start emphatically ended by a 3-0 defeat at Warstones Athletic. 

Charlie Irving, Ben Morris and Owen Guest scored the goals to send Warstones to within three points of the summit, with two games in hand. 

A pair of hat-tricks from Dan Hopson and Shamar Lewis inspired Apr Rbl to a 7-0 triumph over Mental Health Harriers, while goals from Nathan Coulbourne, Ben Wagstaff and Kian Webb secured a 3-0 win for Old Bush Lions.

In the Sunday Premier Cup round one, Victoria beat Bulls Head 3-0 courtesy of goals from Oliver West, Liam Degville and Jacob Brown.
