Ryan Mason gives fresh Daryl Dike and Tammer Bany update ahead of West Brom's Norwich City clash - plus Karlan Grant latest
West Brom absentees Tammer Bany and Daryl Dike returned to training last week - as they eye a potential return to the Albion side.
However, that return does not look likely to be coming in the next couple of weeks.
Striker Dike has been battling with a thigh problem since pre-season and is yet to feature for Ryan Mason's side this season.
Likewise, Bany has also been suffering from a hamstring issue that has so far kept the January signing out of action this campaign.
Earlier in the season it was hoped they may make a return after the September international break - but that has so far not happened.
They did step up their recoveries last week however - and Mason has provided a further update on the fitness of the duo.
Ahead of the trips to Norwich City on Wednesday and then Millwall on Saturday - Mason confirmed that neither of the pair will be in contention for selection for the back to back away trips, which come before the second international break of the season.
After the two games Albion then have a two week break before they welcome Preston to The Hawthorns on October 18.
It now looks likely that the pair could potentially be back and available for the first team squad towards the end of October.
Elsewhere, Karlan Grant remains sidelined with a quad injury with no specific timeline for his return.
He hasn't featured for Albion since coming off the bench against Portsmouth in August - and is still yet to return to first team training.
