'Where was that at West Brom': How £10m Tom Fellows is getting on after link up with ex-Albion loanee at Southampton
When Adam Armstrong arrived at Albion back in January - his link up with Tom Fellows looked like it could be a match made in heaven.
With Fellows' ability to carve out assist after assist - it was predicted that the potent Championship forward would have a field day after arriving on loan.
However, it worked out differently.
Armstrong's spell at Albion was less than impressive and he would score just three times in his 16 league outings for Albion.
The predicted partnership with Fellows just did not fire.
But they have had a chance to rekindle it at Southampton - with Fellows making a late £10m switch to the Saints back at the end of the transfer window.
So far at St Marys, the Albion academy graduate has impressed and he was the side's star man on Saturday as they were frustratingly held to a 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough.
But what he produced was what Albion fans had been searching for all last season.
The wide man got himself in a position to cross for Armstrong and the former Championship leading goalscorer made no mistake to fire home for the Saints.
And on the whole it looks like Fellows is already starting to impress on the South Coast - which will come as no surprise to Albion fans.
